Social Justice….there is a reason why social justice is one of the guiding values of social workers-and one of it is because; the glue that holds together all the differences of a people is justice. There is no economic, political, social, environmental and technological advancement without justice
Nevertheless, while that is true, many individuals, families and communities live with a lot of injustices; from gender based violence, economic injustices, unfair treatment, unlawful evictions, blackmailing, sexual harassment etc.
It is because of challenges like these and the understanding that not many people can afford legal fees, that LLA has organized a legal aid clinic open to everyone.
Consider showing up to interact with lawyers, ask them questions, get representation and continue to advance access to legal services.
If you have a client who has legal issues that they cannot afford to pay for encourage them to come.
